: Associate Product Manager
This is a supporting role within the organization, focused on maintaining and enhancing our dynamic range of products and furthering the company’s marketing initiatives. This person works closely with the Product Manager to bring innovative products to market, manage the product life cycle and own assortment analysis, and to help promote the TASK TOOLS brands in North America.
The Associate Product Manager will…
- Manage the life cycle of existing products
- Play a role in sourcing products from around the globe and in managing/creating vendor relationships
- Manage quality assurance projects and actively work to constantly improve overall product quality as appropriate for the company’s markets
- Manage the development of new products from conception to launch
- Analyze competitor activity to search for future opportunities and differentiate current offerings
- Be able analyze market requirements and refine product offerings to suit demand
- Have particular responsibility within a given product category (or categories)
- Spend time in the field developing competitor and market knowledge
- Work within cross-functional teams within the business to meet corporate objectives
The Associate Product Manager must…
- Feel comfortable working in a team environment but possess a sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative
- Have strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
- Execute myriad projects simultaneously with an eye for detail
- Experience in the Building Supply Industry is a bonus!
- Have a university degree in marketing / communication / business administration / or other related discipline or applicable experience
- Be familiar with the logistics associated with international sourcing
- Be willing to make decisions and to stand behind them
- Possess keen analytical skills with the ability to produce salient insights from large amounts of raw data
- Have experience working with CPG products
- Be a strong communicator, consensus builder, and a natural team player
- Have excellent written and oral English with a talent for writing strong marketing copy

Our office environment is naturally socially distanced, Sanitization and hand washing stations are littered throughout the building and we are working from home two days a week currently.
