Global Traffic Group Ltd. seeks an Assistant Regional Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position provides support to the daily operations and the Regional Manager. You will be a valuable partner to the team, which needs you to adjust and adapt to the ever-changing demands of the day. Working with the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the clients and their contracts are satisfied by providing adequate resources, equipment, training, and the coaching of Peace Officers. This position requires the ability to think strategically, work with all stakeholders professionally, and have a continuous improvement mindset to ensure we continue to provide the best possible solutions.
Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities (Including but not limited to the following)
- Liaise with reception on any issues/concerns.
- Support new programs and projects.
- Working with the Regional Manager to ensure field operations and schedules meet our contracts’ needs.
- Support a safe work environment for Global employees.
- Review and approve all ATE withdrawal requests.
- Support the Regional Manager in community audits.
- Working with the Regional Manager, maintain a working relationship with all program managers, CAO, town managers, and police of jurisdiction.
- Support the flow of information and communication between teams within ATE.
- Working with the Regional Manager to implement legislative changes to daily operations.
- Staying current on provincial ATE changes.
- Communicate and support Alberta Public Safety and Emergency Services (formerly Solicitor General) on ATE-related projects.
- Second-tier call center support.
- Ensure that all incident reports are completed and followed up satisfactorily.
- Manage internal and external commitments.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong proficiency in using MS Office Suite, Office 365 and other technology.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Provincial and Canadian justice systems, law, and statutes.
- Police Officer/enforcement background with a minimum of five (5) years of experience
- Related post-secondary education is considered an asset.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to quickly analyze issues and determine the best course of action using available resources.
- Ability to excel in high-pressure situations.
- Proven adherence to confidentiality.
- Leadership/management experience would be an asset.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task in an environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build lasting relationships with fellow team members.
- Ability to think globally, strategically, and creatively.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: St. Albert, AB
**This role is required to work on-site.
Conditions of Employment:
