Our expectations

The Analyst, Merchandise Analytics’ primary mandate is to create tools and reports to support Merchandising decisions. The incumbent will leverage advanced analytics and problem-solving skills to interpret large data sets and translate them to actionable outputs.

Your role

• Prepare ad hoc analyses to support special projects
• Continuously improve and maintain reporting models and tools to respond to business changes
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business performance drivers, metrics, and data sources to identify best approach to execute analyses or design models
• Manage or lead integration of analytics into scaled tools, partnering with Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional business partners
• Design and build tools to capture business inputs, automate standard tasks, and provide an integrated view of performance
• Design and develop reports to improve understanding of financial performance and operational execution

The Qualifications We Are Looking For

• Exceptional analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to operate in ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally

• Ability to consolidate, analyze, and effectively communicate complex data
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong organization skills
• Proficiency with SQL, PowerQuery
• We require all our head office associates to be proficient in French, spoken and written.
