The Qualifications We Are Looking For

Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.

Interfaces with designated Bantrel management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks.

Prepares and presents planning and scheduling information to management/clients.

Continuing contacts with Project Manager, project team members, and working and supervisory level personnel of other departments.

Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel.

Skilled in oral and written communication.

Degree qualified and proven experience in Transport Planning

Experience in contributing to the development of engineering programs and business cases for transport infrastructure schemes

Have experience across Active Mobility Modes not limited walking and cycling, Structure Planning, Transport Assessments and Development Control

Technical delivery of Transport Planning projects for public sector clients, that will include reporting and business case preparation.

Provide technical leadership to the wider team, to motivate and inspire junior team members

Experience of working with large data/ data management

Buying Analyst will also support in reviewing the Buyers areas of business and offer recommendations to improve business processes.

Three years+ of relevant work experience

Experience in forecasting trends with data

Knowledge of macro is an asset

Previous experience with merchandise planning / inventory management systems.

Proven track-record of driving results; demonstration of strong financial & business acumen for inventory management.

Provide support to Merchandising to actively manage product assortment throughout the season (inventory, MDs, etc.)

5+ years of merchandise planning experience in the apparel industry [vertical retailer experience preferred], including 2+ years experience leading others.

Omni channel experience highly desirable.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong Retail Finance acumen and experience

3 to 5 years’ experience in Planning, Allocation, Forecasting, Supply Chain or Merchandising

Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities, with a strong sense of urgency

Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

Possesses strong organizational and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, ACCESS)

Own Inventory Management, inclusive of OTB, ladder plans, and turn in support of Knix’s product and consumer strategies

Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with planning software is an asset

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Detail oriented with strong planning & organizational skills

Co-manage seasonal hind-sighting with merchandising to inform future direction

Manage reporting and monitoring trends to proactively inform decision-making for key stakeholders

Keen analytical skills (extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities)

Have experience forecasting at item level and managing up to total channel. Understand a tops down and bottoms up approach.

Broad range of computer skills: database, spreadsheet, statistics applications and software, ERP systems

Work cross functionally to act as functional voice & key stakeholder.

Work towards presenting Channel financials at monthly financial review (S&OP), calling out drivers, actions & solutions to current business.

Proven track record of managing large revenue across multiple levels of plans in a store/omni environment.

Demonstrable potential leadership and people management skills

Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Category/assortment administrative support: colour cards, purchase logs and flyer boards. Support product sample management with Category Assistants

Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience, ideally in retail

2-3 years work experience (ideally in retail - either store or buying office)

Ensure a high quality work output, while assigning tasks and overseeing daily, weekly, and seasonal priorities.

Retail experience and commodity knowledge

1-2 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge of using BY/JDA Space Planning or Floor Planning considered an asset

SQL & Tableau experience considered an asset

Python knowledge considered an asset

Strong analytical and communication skills

Experience in data entry and data management

Business knowledge of retail inventory management, merchandising concepts and operations

Post-secondary education (University preferred) with a focus on retail, marketing or finance

Data entry of product information (PO’s) in various systems as required

Accurate data entry of product information in various systems as required

Ensure the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checklists are being reviewed and managed by POD

Work closely with BRP Apparel Management, Business and Strategy to design and execute our planning process.

Collaborate with Product Management teams to develop business cases and define a strategic roadmap.

Demonstrated planning skills with experience managing an Open-to-Buy.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in Planning and Allocation in a retail and wholesale environment.
