The BRP Apparel and Protective Gear Division is looking for a Lead Merchandise Analyst to drive financial and product strategies. You will work to build efficient and productive systems in order to contribute to pre-season strategy and conduct in-season product management that drives sales growth.
You’ll Have The Opportunity To
  • Collaborate with Product Management teams to develop business cases and define a strategic roadmap.
  • Develop and build standardized reports to perform in-season performance analysis and post mortems at season ending to provide insights to the merchandising team.
  • Collaborate in forecasting sales at the country/brand/category level for BRP’s various sales channels that align with Apparel’s vision, financial objectives and customer experience goals.
  • Support Finance and Sales in developing future open-to-buy budgets and sales forecasts by serving as a subject matter expert for our strategic roadmap.
  • Evaluate actual results against the plan, identify opportunities to increase sales and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Work closely with BRP Apparel Management, Business and Strategy to design and execute our planning process.
  • Deliver on KPI results such as sales, gross margin, rate of sell-through, inventory.
  • Ownership of OTB, sales and receipt flow.
  • Perform sales analysis and scenarios as needed to support business decision-making.
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Planning and Allocation in a retail and wholesale environment.
  • Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including margin planning, selling and inventory productivity measures.
  • Familiarity with the automotive or powersports industry would be a definite asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Demonstrated planning skills with experience managing an Open-to-Buy.
