Develop SQL queries and perform analysis to understand trends in customer experiences and business health performance

BS/BA or equivalent in a quantitative field e.g., math, statistics, engineering, economics, finance, computer science

Experience with SQL (or similar language)

1-5 years of experience in pensions, climate risk, asset/liability management, and/or risk management is a strong plus

Supporting the development of initiatives related to Total Plan Risk such as asset/liability management, risk appetite, and climate risk

Experience using 3rd party systems such as MSCI Risk Manager (or Barra) and Bloomberg is an asset

University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

Strong working knowledge of financial markets (public and private/alternative), including an understanding of how financial instruments are modeled

Hands-on experience working with large datasets using numerical computing tools, with a desire to understand business risks through data

Collaborate with data engineers to access data and explain data requirements

Must be comfortable with changing requirements and priorities

Experience with commercial aspects of the Life Sciences industry

Experience working with Software as a Service and/or enterprise products

Hands-on experience building models with deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow or similar)

Develop advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner

1-3 years of relevant experience in similar role supporting Reporting and Analytics functions

Strong development and SQL scripting skills using relational DBMS (e.g. SAP HANA, MySQL, Oracle)

Experience in BI solution design, such as data modeling and data mining

Strong working knowledge of Excel (Pivot Table, Lookups, Conditional formatting, Power Query and data validation, etc.)

Manages promotional plans by measuring ROI and margin productivity

2+ years of relevant work experience within a strategic sales environment

Thorough understanding of economic analysis and finance concepts

Some knowledge of SEM, social media, RTB, branding, mobile, and other digital models

Google Certification and Facebook Blueprint are a plus

Work with Returns and Customer Experience (CX) teams to solve escalations on priority and improve experience for the customer and seller.

Create actionable analytical reports/ dashboards by working with Data Analytics teams that enable decision making.

Drive operational rigor on a day-to-day basis such as reviewing OOS items, Cancelation, and Documenting SOPs and improving processes.

Own the complete Tech issues charter end-to-end.

Continuously evaluate our features against US WFS with respect to Reporting and Data.

Drive action items from Weekly huddle by working with cross-functional teams of relevant stakeholders.

Intermediate BI & Analytics Analyst Responsibilities:

Intermediate BI & Analytics Analyst Must Have Skills:

Process transactions accurately and within specified timeframes, in accordance with company policies & procedures and applicable legislative/regulatory requirements

Assess deal packages and make recommendations on potential deal structures or issues on deals to the Account Managers and credit teams

Identify and advise the Commercial Account Managers of any potential credit risk issues

Carry out other role related delegated tasks as identified by the Commercial Account Managers

Work closely with the Commercial Account Managers in acquiring and retaining profitable broker relationships

Minimum 2 years’ underwriting/credit background -commercial credit experience preferred

· Time-management skills including a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business or Sales Analyst role is required

· Strong business/financial acumen and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

· Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point required (MS Access is an asset)

· Post-secondary education in business or related field is an asset
