Career opportunity:
We currently have a career opportunity for an Advisor Transition Administrator. Reporting to the Manager, Advisor Transitions this role is offered as a hybrid-remote role with flexibility on location within Canada. Our head office is in Vancouver, BC, in addition to 28+ offices across Canada. We are currently looking for an individual, who is interested in growing their career in the retail and business processing operations of a full-service brokerage firm. The successful candidate will support and act as a liaison between sales and operations personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Completing administrative items/tasks and other duties when assigned;
- Monitoring mailboxes and responding to all general account opening and transfer inquiries during the team’s onboarding period;
- Creating new and/or updating existing account templates in our DocuSign application;
- Providing service, and support to the Transitions department as required;
- Assisting with the navigation of various third-party operating systems;
- Assisting with the onboarding process of new advisory teams, create new account opening packages, clarify operations policies/procedures and documentation requirements, and collaborate with other internal departments, to effectively complete their account opening and transfers;
Ideal candidate qualifications:
- High level of people skills, critical thinking, and ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, is results driven, and thrives within a fast-paced environment;
- 6-12 Months of financial service industry experience, preferably, with an CIRO Investment Dealer;
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
- Proficiency with MS Office applications;
- Possess project and organizational skills with a focus on completing assigned tasks efficiently;
- Adaptability and strong time management skills to adapt to shifting priorities to meet deadlines;
- Strong analytical skills, along with a keen eye for detail to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems;
- Experience with National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) service relationship and operating systems is considered an asset;
- Familiar with brokerage back-office operations, objectives, and initiatives;
- Effective team player, positive attitude, and strong collaboration skills;
Definite Assets:
- Knowledge of DocuSign application;
- Knowledge of NBIN back-office processes and various applications;
- Relevant experience in the Wealth Management industry;
