Job Description

Our client, one of the top crypto exchanges in Canada is looking for a passionate AML professional who is enthusiastic about cryptocurrency and blockchain to join their team as an AML Analyst.


Your responsibility


  • Assist in delivering and designing training on crypto compliance for the employees and new hires
  • Perform compliance reviews and risk assessments on a regular basis
  • Conduct AML investigation and file STRs
  • Assist the compliance team to create or update relevant policies and procedures relevant to cryptocurrency
  • Stay abreast of cryptocurrency industry development and analyze the impact on business operations
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations


The Requirement


  • Good understanding of FINTRAC reporting requirements on AML investigations and filing STRs and LVCTRs
  • AML certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, FIS or equivalent are considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency
  • 2+ years of experience in an AML or Compliance role
  • Cryptocurrency certificates such as CCFC, CRC, CBP, CCI or equivalent are considered an asset
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
