What you will be doing:

  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
  • Coordinates safety meetings and training sessions, arranges & maintains conference rooms and organizes catering, if required.
  • Performs data entry support for office for the District Safety department needs
  • Coordinates asset distribution and tracking for projects.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties, including making copies, typing memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as directed.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
  • Supports day-to-day employee safety inquiries, working closely with the District Safety team to resolve issues.
  • Maintains company and business contact information and safety event calendar documents.
  • Support published corporate policies.
  • Orders safety supplies, stationary and staff business cards, as directed by manager.


What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years related administrative or clerical experience required in safety adminstration
  • Friendly disposition and customer service attitude required.
  • Developing knowledge of construction industry and project safety procedures.
  • Proven initiative, organization and self-prioritization required.
  • Valid driver's license preferred

We are looking for a Administration Assistant

A key member of the Group Disability Benefits team, the Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for telephone reception and administrative duties for the team.


What you will do

  • Manage the distribution of files requested from the Records Centre
  • Maintain employee and client information in GWL systems, including entering or updating banking information, updating employee and client contact information, and entering invoice data for payment
  • Scan mail into the document imaging system and set tasks for team members to review and handle the mail
  • Open, sort and prepare incoming mail.
  • Create and mail correspondence to employees, clients, and service providers
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
  • Manage incoming phone call inquiries received on the department toll-free line
  • Investigate mail that has been returned to sender and resend the mail as appropriate

  • Strong keyboarding (50 wpm) and data entry skills required
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
