What you will be doing:
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
- Coordinates safety meetings and training sessions, arranges & maintains conference rooms and organizes catering, if required.
- Performs data entry support for office for the District Safety department needs
- Coordinates asset distribution and tracking for projects.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties, including making copies, typing memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as directed.
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
- Supports day-to-day employee safety inquiries, working closely with the District Safety team to resolve issues.
- Maintains company and business contact information and safety event calendar documents.
- Support published corporate policies.
- Orders safety supplies, stationary and staff business cards, as directed by manager.
What we are looking for:
- Ability to work in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
- Experience using MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years related administrative or clerical experience required in safety adminstration
- Friendly disposition and customer service attitude required.
- Developing knowledge of construction industry and project safety procedures.
- Proven initiative, organization and self-prioritization required.
- Valid driver's license preferred

We are looking for a Administration Assistant
A key member of the Group Disability Benefits team, the Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for telephone reception and administrative duties for the team.
What you will do
- Manage the distribution of files requested from the Records Centre
- Maintain employee and client information in GWL systems, including entering or updating banking information, updating employee and client contact information, and entering invoice data for payment
- Scan mail into the document imaging system and set tasks for team members to review and handle the mail
- Open, sort and prepare incoming mail.
- Create and mail correspondence to employees, clients, and service providers
- Other administrative duties as assigned
- Manage incoming phone call inquiries received on the department toll-free line
- Investigate mail that has been returned to sender and resend the mail as appropriate

- Strong keyboarding (50 wpm) and data entry skills required
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent communication skills
