As a Project Administrative Assistant, you are passionate about the construction industry and have a strong sense of customer service excellence and a people-focused attitude. As a key member of the team, you will put your knowledge to work and provide administrative support at every stage of the construction process. What YOU Will Do
- Take charge of project invoices and ensure transmission to our Accounts Payable team;
- Jump in right from project start-up to assist with key documentation and drafting of contract award letters;
- Assemble, attend, document and emphasize the importance of project meetings;
- Assist the project team(s) with administrative support;
- Adapt to project changes by updating project presentations;
- Keep on top of subcontracts and ensure key information is updated and distributed accordingly;
- Utilize your passion for organization through maintenance of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents;
- Collaborate and keep the lines of communication open when working with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients;
- Take pride in using and maintaining our innovative internal technology systems;
- Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrap-up process.
- Effectively use CMiC and be a key resource for all project team members;
- Embrace the learning experience and be open to internal career opportunities;
What YOU Will Bring
- A proven track record of project administrative support and team leadership skills;
- Solid written and verbal communication skills;
- 2+ years’ administrative experience;
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry;
- Proven organizational skills and a keen attention to detail;
- Knowledge of the Vancouver market and ability to work throughout BC.
- Strong computer skills with enthusiasm for innovation;
- A College Diploma in the field of Office Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience;
