Administrative Assistant, Workplace Health & Safety (Northern Health)

Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent full time Administrative Assistant to support the Workplace Health & Safety department.

Reporting to the Regional Director-Workplace Health and Safety, the Administrative Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the Regional Director and designated team members within Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S). Functions as a first point of contact for the assigned area(s) and directs both internal and external customers to the appropriate staff to address their needs.

Starting salary will be approximately from $44,088 to $55,110 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions

Qualfications

• Grade 12 plus successful completion of a recognized business/secretarial certificate, and three (3) years of recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
