Accounting Manager/Supervisor Jobs

Robert Half is looking for a talented Accounting Supervisor to join a well-established company in Stoney Creek, ON. This role's duties will require a wide range of hands-on activities to provide for the recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial transactions. The Accounting Supervisor could have an opportunity to work hybrid after training and the position is most suited for those with a manufacturing or construction background. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment with tight deadlines, then you will enjoy working with this company.
Key responsibilities

• GST/HST/PST sales tax reporting and filing
• Prepare month end closing for preparation of financials
• Prepare aging of Accounts Receivable and Payable analysis
• Prepare cash flows and projections for management
• Other general accounting tasks, daily reports and special projects
• Working with US accounting staff to coordinate reconciliation and payment of intercompany accounts
• Review vendor payments ( cheque / ACH / Credit Cards / Wire )
• Prepare schedules for auditors
• Reconcile PayPal and Credit Card purchases
• Reconcile monthly General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts
• Review credits and refunds
• New vendor credit references
• Mentor regional accounting staff

Requirements

• Epertise with Excel spreadsheets
• Detail Oriented
• Knowledge of accounting
• Problem solving abilities
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills

Required Experience

• Accounting Diploma or BS degree in Accounting or Business
• Supervisory experience for 1-2 years
• Knowledge of Epicor Prophet 21 a plus but not essential
• Accounting background with 5 to 7 years’ experience.
• CPA/CA would be a plus but not required
