Accounting Manager - Construction - Richmond Hill

About Our Client
They are located in Richmond Hill and are an established group in the construction industry

• Train, oversee and management of Accounting Clerk(s)
• Manage and process all vendor/ subcontract payments
• Manage and process company payroll
• Prepare and manage the production of quarterly reports and forecasts for the fiscal year and review with the executive team
• Manage and supervise all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations
• Review and report compliance filings for all government taxes
• Coordinate, review and submit monthly progress billing invoices for up to 100+ construction projects
• Prepare and manage master budget for company expenses and identify any discrepancies for review with senior management

The Successful Applicant

• Post secondary degree or diploma in accounting or related field
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 5+ years in a managerial role in accounting
• Self-starter, demonstrates strong ownership, analytical and problem solving skills
