Develop and implement an inventory management system.

An undergraduate degree in an engineering or business-related subject (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).

7-10 years of procurement and sourcing experience in progressively senior roles (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies in the clean alternative fuel industry is considered a strong asset.

Manage the sourcing and supply of all purchases required for retail, warehouse and HQ balancing quality and cost.

Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers and customs agent to manage import/ export processes and ensure compliance with regulations

Ensure all supplier invoices are managed and paid on time to solidify strong supplier relationships.

2+ years experience in a similar role.

Experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing and relationship management

Experience with professional services and/or management consulting

This role will partner with senior management to proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives.

Category management and pipeline management

Experience in leading and supporting senior leaders

Experience with cloud software negotiations

In depth knowledge with project management methodologies

Identification and management of dependencies between individual projects in the program

Identification and management of the overall critical path

Ongoing communication of project status, completing the weekly/monthly Engagement Status Reports and escalating issues to the senior management, as required

Facilitate and support the change management process for project delivery

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (i.e., OSFI)

Responsible for the procurement, maintenance and/or refurbishment of hardware, software, and inventory management.

Manage contact between external IT suppliers, vendors or contractors

Data entry and keep all the records updated in the system

2+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Strong Computer skills (Microsoft office- Word, Excel, ERP Systems)

3-5 years of Contracts or Subcontract Management experience. is mandatory

Provide reports to Global Strategic Sourcing Senior Management.

Strong on-hand, knowledge and experience in international purchasing practices, contracts and dispute resolution are mandatory

Knowledge of aerospace simulation industry will be considered an asset

Knowledge of standard procurement tools (ERP system) will be an asset

Good organizational skills and the ability to work self-directed in order to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Prior experience working at an educational organization is an asset

Compare and analyze costs to determine the best cost scenario and make appropriate recommendations will be part of your responsibilities

2+ years of previous experience in a similar field

Experience with Microsoft Visio is an asset

Experience in creating and maintaining Pivot Tables with strong analytical skills to dissect the information and present based on it.

Experience establishing vendor agreements, including the ability to strategically assess and mitigate risk with vendors and suppliers an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Applied knowledge of inventory management, carrying cost, min/max, and logistics;

Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) designation a definite asset.
