Ten (10) years of experience in the procurement of goods using Public Works and Government Services Standing Offers and Supply arrangement

Developing, planning, analyzing, evaluating and prioritizing deliverables and requirements (Bid evaluation)

Ten (10) years of experience in Procurement within a Canadian Federal Government department.

2-4 years procurement experience related to contract management

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.

Experience in tools such as SharePoint, MS Lists, MS Power BI as well as the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Developing a resource to assist Supplier Managers to identify contract obligations

• Work directly with the Supplier Managers to educate and support their transition to the new processes

• Identify discrepancies between contracts that may add supplier risk

· Demonstrated project and time management skills for juggling many changing priorities and working under tight deadlines.

· Desire to gain project management, purchasing and process development experience.

· Experience with contract management systems and Oracle is a plus.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

· Ensure proper documentation for vendor management in accordance with SOX and other control frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the technology/computer industry, preferably cybersecurity.

Knowledge of project accounting and invoice management.

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Finance.

Familiarity and experience with manufacturing, mechanical, electrical and electronic components and the major global suppliers and distribution networks for these components.

Hands-on experience using ERP system procurement modules, preferably NetSuite.

3+ years of experience in corporate procurement/contract management
