Cost records management: Prepare cost-related financial reports and manage system updates.

Product Management: Working closely with our Global Product Management team to define product and services pricing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Proven experience in cost accounting or a similar role.

Technology and IT industry experience preferred.

Experience in Shop Floor and Management Execution Systems (MES)

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and manage priorities on a daily basis.

Assumes additional related responsibilities, as required.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting or Finance

CMA preferred, or desire to obtain certification.

Experience in Cost Analysis and Inventory financial controls.

Experience/exposure in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or project management

Excellent planning, organizing, multitasking and time management skills

Distribution of monthly management reports

Miscellaneous analysis, report writing and management reporting

This position will work closely with the Director of Finance, Plant/Production Managers, Warehouse Managers and Supply Chain.

Minimum five (5) years relevant costing experience in a manufacturing environment

3+ years of experience in a similar role with the Construction, Development, Engineering, or Manufacturing sector

MUST have costing experience, they will be responsible for all project cost audits, as well as department budget reviews

Experience working on establishing and tracking annual budgets, and providing those reports to the Controller

Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Look Ups) and any ERP experience

Tracking project costs to budget and analyzing/ explain variances

Recording transactions, posting entries, preparing month-end close and internal financial reports

Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.

Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.

Assists Senior Financial Analyst in their duties and responsibilities.

Assists organization's controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.

Minimum of three to five years’ experience

Having Costing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

HFM (Hyperion Financial management) experience

Proven 5+ years of relevant experience in a Cost Accountant or similar role in Accounting, Costing and Finance

Diploma in Business or Accounting or Finance required

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly expertise in Microsoft Excel

Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage competing priorities and fluctuating workloads, month-end overtime might be required

Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to people both internally and externally

Experience in financial management in the mining industry;

Bachelor and above degree, major in accounting or financial management;

Collect and analyze cost data of the Group's overseas projects as per the framework provided by the manager.

5+ years’ experience as a Cost Accountant or Cost Analyst

Advanced Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Public company experience an asset

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Responsible for month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and departmental allocations

Consistently completes assigned processes, procedures and workflows within corporate guidelines and checks for compliance with internal and external requirements

Prepare and analyze cost reports and costing audits

Determine and implement cost accounting procedures and methods

Respond to costing queries and prepare explanations and analysis

Conduct analysis of standard versus actual costs to identify variances

Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce, Finance or Accounting.

A minimum of 2 years relevant cost accounting and business experience.

Some exposure to auditing is preferred, and a strong knowledge of internal controls.

Highly proficient in using Excel and large financial systems, including knowledge of SAP

Prepare the monthly manufacturing cost report, month end inventory balances, analysis of key manufacturing costs, and any additional closing reports

Organize and prepare the annual budget

Knowledge of Management Accounting, Public Accounting or Business Administration preferred.

Outstanding administrative and management skills.

Manage internal and external financial audits.

Review and manage the company's inventory cash flow.

Outstanding knowledge of various accounting tools and softwares.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Required Skills: ERP (SAP) FICO Model, ETO Knowledge, OFFICE.

Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB Local Division policies and contractual agreements.

Acts as the key execution contact for the customer and escalates any issues with urgency to Management

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university Or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma with passion for Project Management.

ABB Project Management designation (for internal applicants only), PMI certified.

Make to stock and make to order experience

Prepare inventory related and COS related Journal entries at month end, including Slow moving provision

Review variance accounts for reasonability - Scrap, PPV, COS FX, freight in, and identify possible opportunities for improving efficiencies

Complete month end close procedures and reporting on COGS and production reports

Work with production on incomplete production reporting and other production reporting errors

Prepare month end functional overhead reporting vs budget and calculate capitalized variances, intercompany elimination entries, etc.
