We are looking for a Cost Accountant to be a part of our organization. An excellent accounting career backing besides strong communication and interpersonal skills is ideal.
You will be in charge of creating and maintaining the company's financial database. Suggesting cost-effective measures to expand the company's profitability will be an added advantage. You will be responsible for developing and implementing standard accounting and payment procedures for vendors. Keeping a track of pending transactions and setting reminders for the same will also be a part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Collecting and maintaining financial data/ records.
Analyzing and determining the cash flow.
Outline cost variables.
Draft monthly and yearly budget reports.
Prepare month-end and financial year closing.
Manage internal and external financial audits.
Investigate current market trends and frame financial policies.
Ensure timely collection of payments and track payment reminders.
Review and set a budget within departments.
Check invoices and reports for accuracy.
Review and manage the company's inventory cash flow.
Tally financial statements.
Calculate taxes payable.
Suggest cost-cutting strategies to increase profitability.
Maintain confidentiality about financial data.
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Proven ability as a Cost Accountant or a similar role in the Accounting Department.
Knowledge of Management Accounting, Public Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desirable.
Outstanding knowledge of various accounting tools and softwares.
Know-how of standard costing and its procedures.
Outstanding administrative and management skills.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Awareness about GAAP and other accounting concepts.
Ability to work under pressure.
