Social Media Graphic Designer Requirements:

As the Motion Designer / Digital Designer in this role you will be:

Experience with project management software such as Jira or Trello

Advanced skills working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and comfort in a Mac environment

Proven work experience as a Web Developer, ideally with experience in designing and developing responsive websites and web applications.

Strong knowledge of web development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and SEO.

Strong time management skills with an ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet tight deadlines

Minimum 2-3 years of Graphic Design and Multi-Media experience

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Previous Agency experience is considered an asset

Previous experience in product, retail and/or liquor industry preferred

Adheres to Niagara Parks file management protocol, maintaining well-organized, efficiently archived files.

Work with the Brand Experience team to lead clients from macro decision to detailed micro decisions and prepare for implementation

Work with the project leader, team leader, and or project manager to maintain project schedules with appropriate support

Attend meetings, document feedback, follow timelines and meet deadlines to maintain project schedules for Brand Experience deliverables

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

2 to 5 years of experience in graphic design or branding

Strong project management skills and attention to detail

Oversee outsourcing and management of large print jobs and mailings, when needed

Arrange signage or special printing requirements for properties as required

1-4 years of experience in creative graphic design

Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills

HTML, video editing, website and print design experience are all considered assets
