Position: Graphic Designer

Type: Part-Time, Contract

Location: Remote

Hours: 5-10 hours/week. This is a long-term commitment.

Requirements: 1-2 images per week day (Monday-Friday) due by 4:30PM ET. Task will be ready by 12-1PM ET.

As a Part-Time Graphic Designer, you will enhance the visual appeal and engagement of our daily newsletter by:

• Maintaining open communication with the editorial team to clarify image requirements and make any necessary revisions.
• Adhering to tight deadlines to ensure images are completed and delivered between 4:30 PM ET each weekday.
• Developing a deep understanding of our brand's visual identity and ensuring all images align with our established design guidelines.
• Creating 5-8 visually captivating and relevant images/gifs per week to complement the articles (1-2 per day).
• Collaborating with the editorial team to understand the content and context of each newsletter article.
• Producing original, high-quality graphics that resonate with our target audience.
• Our audience is mostly gen-z’s/millennials and we are looking for a more “modern” design style that resonates with this audience.

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to seek feedback and make iterative improvements.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to adapt your design style to suit various content topics and tones.
• Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually appealing and impactful designs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the editorial team.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or equivalent design software.
