Position: Graphic Designer
Type: Part-Time, Contract
Location: Remote
Hours: 5-10 hours/week. This is a long-term commitment.
Requirements: 1-2 images per weekday (Monday-Friday) due by 4:30PM ET. Task will be ready by 12-1PM ET.
As a Part-Time Graphic Designer, you will enhance the visual appeal and engagement of our daily newsletter by:
- Producing original, high-quality graphics that resonate with our target audience.
- Collaborating with the editorial team to understand the content and context of each newsletter article.
- Developing a deep understanding of our brand's visual identity and ensuring all images align with our established design guidelines.
- Adhering to tight deadlines to ensure images are completed and delivered between 4:30 PM ET each weekday.
- Maintaining open communication with the editorial team to clarify image requirements and make any necessary revisions.
- Creating 5-8 visually captivating and relevant images/gifs per week to complement the articles (1-2 per day).
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to seek feedback and make iterative improvements.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually appealing and impactful designs.
- Ability to adapt your design style to suit various content topics and tones.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or equivalent design software.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the editorial team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet daily deadlines.
