CGC Hagersville is Hiring a Production Operator for the Joint Treatment line.

Develop knowledge to troubleshoot plant processes, perform equipment changeovers, as well as minor troubleshooting and repairs as necessary

Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Perform regular Quality checks, and ensure compliance with standards

Adjusting to new demands, products, and plant priorities to support business interests

Completion of High School or equivalent

Performs carseal audits and replacements, carseal replacements, cathodic checks, well down time management and fuel gas readings

Performs compliance containment tank inspections, surface water pump off, bubble or glove testing, rodent management

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field operator role

Proven experience troubleshooting minor corrective work

Broad business knowledge and general understanding of production and pipeline operations

Identifies and reports on all other equipment or production deficiencies to the IOC

No experience necessary but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrapyard/auto part environment will be considered an asset

Knowledge and understanding of metallic materials purchased, ferrous and non-ferrous classifications, an asset

Working in conveyor picking stations removing unwanted material from product stream

Cleaning production areas, including shoveling, scraping and sweeping

Assisting operators with maintenance and repairs of equipment

Assist with shop and yard cleanliness by removing debris and picking-up metal from various places throughout the facility
