Production Operator Jobs

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mixer to join our team on a Permanent, full-time basis.
Our manufacturing plant located in Surrey, BC specializes in the processing of building materials such as concrete repair, protection, structural reinforcement, sealing and bonding, waterproofing, concrete admixtures, and additives, and industrial, commercial, and institutional flooring and roofing systems.
As the Mixer you will be responsible for preparing mixes, picking and packing orders, quality control of products being shipped, loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse, and assisting with regular cleaning and maintenance of the plant.

This is a full-time , permanent employment opportunity
Location: Surrey, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Wage: $25.00/H

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions when preparing the mixes
• The mixer will assist in the cementitious-based powders division
• Picking, packing, and packaging orders being shipped out
• Maintain and follow safety procedures when operating all plant equipment
• Perform a quality inspection of products being shipped
• Assist in general maintenance and cleaning of the facility to ensure health and safety policies are being met
• Loading and unloading products being shipped in or out
• Assist with other tasks when directed by management

Qualifications

• You have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
• PPE required: clean-shaven as a Respirator will be required for the role, steel toe boots
• The ideal candidate would be looking for long-term, internal growth opportunities
• Previous forklift experience on a Sitdown Counterbalance in an asset
• You bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in a like-minded facility or position
• Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
• You can meet the physical requirements of this role, lifting 50 pounds, bending, and pushing. carrying and standing for 8 hours as scheduled
• You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia
• A reliable means of transportation is required for this role as transit is limited in the area
