Rc Forklift Operator Jobs

Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Certified Forklift Operator - Order Picker to work for a leading tech focused e-retailer in Richmond Hill, ON. This role requires you to be certified for counterbalance forklifts, order picker and walkie. In this role you will be working in a warehouse environment packing products for orders. If you have previous warehouse or manufacturing experience and certification to operate a counterbalance forklift, we are looking for you!

• Pay rate: $19.00/hour
• Location: Richmond Hill, ON
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time
• Shifts: Days | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Processing each order completely and accurately
• Awareness of storage techniques and locations, space allocation, & stock rotation.
• Packing the orders in a safe, effective and efficient manner; verifying order accuracy by order number, product quantity and shipping each order
• Maintain a clean working area.
• Responsible for physical inventory count in assigned area.
• Create and manage vendor and internal transfer documentation
• Sort and prepare merchandise for RMA request.
• Prepare merchandise for shipping with necessary and correct documentation.
• Test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Ensure special safety precautions and/or equipment is maintained
• Responsible for the verification and accuracy of all outgoing shipments
• Provide driver information for merchandise to relevant departments.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and tasks may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
• Supporting technical support activities between outbound and vendors.
• Responsible for loading packages onto carriers as needed.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communications skills
• Must be physically capable of repetitive standing, lifting, bending and stooping for long period of time
• Previous experience working within Fulfillment, Warehousing, or Manufacturing preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
• High School diploma or equivalent

Essential Mental & Physical Function

• Walking, stooping, standing, stretching, bending, lifting and sitting for long periods of time
• Requires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds; may require heavy lifting of 50+ pounds with assistance of team members and/or equipment
• Must be able to pick up at least 50lbs and drive a forklift
• Ability to work under extreme environments such as high heat and cold weather
• Job will be performed in a warehouse environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold
