Valid Forklift Certification for *Reach Truck or Dock Stocker *(current/up-to-date)

Previous Reach Truck or Dock Stocker experience required (minimum 6 months)

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles

Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility in cold storage

Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions

Education required Grade 12 or equivalent;

Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Able to work twelve (12) hour rotating shift work schedule;

Strong understanding of warehouse/shipping and transportation;

Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment;

Receive materials into the database;

Associates must be licensed with 1 year experience.

Associate must have previous warehouse experience and be comfortable with case picking, loading trails, Inventory control, palletizing product.

Previous experience in a fast-paced, logistics environment considered an asset

Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm, 7:00am - 3:00pm OR 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Load, unload and move products and materials by operating a stand-up forklift

Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.

Operate forklifts to transfer frozen or fresh fruits or vegetables from transportation vehicles to processing lines or storage areas

May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Works independently and part as a team.

Some of the duties involved in the role:

· Loading/unloading in house trucks and customer trucks.

· Prepare supply only material for customers.

· Prepare material for shipping as per schedule and shipping list.

· Relocating garbage bins as per schedule (from inside shop to big outside bin).

· Relocating various materials around the shop as per schedule.

Must have 2-5yrs forklift experience and up-to-date ticket

Steel handling experience preferred but not mandatory

Loading trucks from small customer pick-ups to full B-train trailers

Unloading trucks with coil, sheet and site supplies

2+ years of forklift experience.

Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks.

Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location.

Bring to management’s attention, any hazardous condition that could cause an accident or an unsafe working condition.

Report to management any incidents, accidents or near misses suffered during the work shift.

All other duties as assigned by management.

Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or SQF requirements.

Relieve on the production lines for breaks as per relief schedule and line operator requirements.

Approximately 3+ years in a fast moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience in forklift driving
