Forklift Operator


Sackville, NB


Currently, we are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Sackville, NB. You will be working with a company that is much more than the world's largest provider of fresh and frozen food offerings; they are an industry leader by carefully nurturing a reputation for quality and integrity.


Available Shifts: Days


Rate of Pay: $18.00 / hour


Start Date: August 10, 2023


Responsibilities


  • Operate forklifts to transfer frozen or fresh fruits or vegetables from transportation vehicles to processing lines or storage areas
  • Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
  • May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory.
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by operating a stand-up forklift


Candidate Qualifications


  • Clean criminal record
  • One-year similar experience (preferred)
  • Forklift Operator Certificate required
  • Steel toed safety boots
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Have access to transportation
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Works independently and part as a team.
  • Ability to work in a freezer environment
