We are currently looking for a forklift operator who is interested in a seasonal opportunity to join our client who is North America’s largest producer of horticultural-grade peat and the largest distributor of peat moss and bark-based growing mixes.
As a forklift operator, you'll primarily be responsible for loading or unloading trailers, and completing load charts and bill of landings. Additionally, you'll be responsible for assisting with the receipt of goods and materials, ensuring that the quantity and potential damage of goods are thoroughly examined, and other tasks as assigned by your supervisors.

What the best fit looks like!

• Forklift experience required and experience with loading/unloading shipments is a bonus
• Having a valid forklift license is preferred but not required
• Able to wear all required PPE (hard hat, safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves)
• We are hiring candidates that speak French and/or English
• Experience working in a production and shipping environment is preferred but not required

Availability Requirements

• 7:00 to 15:00 (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• 15:00 to 23:00 (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Rotational Shifts that will include the following:
• 23:00 to 7:00 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
