Forklift Operator-Long Lake Jobs

John Ross & Sons is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at our Long Lake location! As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain organized inventory, track or label materials as required to ensure accuracy
• Check machinery daily, maintain, and fix minor issues to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency
• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with the forklift

Requirements:

• Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs
• Steel toed boots
• Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience operating a forklift
• Must be able and equipped to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to maintain and organize inventory is a priority
• Ability to work in in a fast paced working environment
