Forklift Operator- Mississauga, On

Cascadia Metals is currently accepting resumes for a Forklift Operator to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position and will be in our Mississauga branch.

Responsibilities

• Scanning loads with an RF scanner
• Unloading trucks with coil, sheet and site supplies
• Organizing and sorting material for loading and space optimization
• Double-checking loads for accuracy
• Other duties as required
• Loading trucks from small customer pick-ups to full B-train trailers
• Unload rail cars and containers
• Poly wrap trucks
• Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
• Reading paperwork to ensure the accuracy of the load

Requirements

• Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Steel handling experience preferred but not mandatory
• Must have 2-5yrs forklift experience and up-to-date ticket
• Ability to read orders and complete basic paperwork
