Plant Operator Jobs

Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for driven and experienced 4th Class Power Engineers to join our team as Plant Operators. The individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector. This position is for a camp position in Northern BC that offers a shift of 15 days on, 13 days off.

Requirements

• Previous experience in compression, boilers, refrigeration systems, recycle pumps, shipping pumps, Inlet separators, FKO, and production books
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience with field/plant operating in the Oil & Gas sector
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment
• Must be self motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
• Preference given to contract operators with truck
• Must possess either a 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
• Current Standard First Aid Level 1, Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates are a requirement
