4. Vendor and Budget Management:

Assist the Chief Security & Privacy Officer with various assignments related to data center operations and management, including defining security requirements.

Evaluate and recommend cost management strategies for both our Canadian and US-based MS Azure data centers.

Perform essential data center infrastructure maintenance and data management tasks to ensure 24x7x365 application availability for our clients.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Oversee and manage third-party vendors providing outsourced services in the data center.

Manage secure storage and distribution of data in consultation with the database administrator, security team, and development teams.

• Experience in an IT Operations management role with direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Experience supporting an enterprise Server environment including Microsoft and Unix operating systems.

• Experience with Operations monitoring practices and tool sets.

• Experience with ITIL processes [E.g. Change, Incident, Problem] required and ITIL designation preferred.

• Sound judgment and decision making skills

Experience in an IT Operations Management role with direct supervisory responsibilities

5+ years of experience in an IT Operations Management capacity within a complex enterprise environment

Knowledge / experience with current network architecture/standards and industry best practices required to implement and maintain a reliable data network

Performs incident and event triage with support from HUB resources and manages resolution and/or routing based on established procedures

Maintains regular contact with Operation Managers and teams to maintain currency on technical standards, tool sets, and operational practices

Public sector / health experience is preferred

General networking understanding including SSL, domain management

Provide deskside and remote application/software support AIDE Canada and the Pacific Autism Family Network staff

Review service provider vendor support contracts, evaluate vendors and manage vendor relationships

5-7 years of experience working with azure based deployments

2-4 years’ experience directly supervising and mentoring technical staff

Ability to deliver business goals and capabilities through people, process and tools

Exceptional server hardware knowledge with deep understanding of all component & system type failures

Solid experience with IPMI utilization in diagnostics

Experience in real-time issue resolution during new deployments.

Experienced with Windows Server OS & WinPE OS administration.

Experience with Linux PXE services a plus.

Basic Linux and Windows scripting experience.

Supervise IT Data and Support Team Members to improve service offerings, reduce time-to-delivery, and adhere to SLAs.

Update existing C# codebase to make changes based on requirements submitted by internal and external users.

Experience in 3PL Logistics & Warehouse Fulfillment (GMP) is an asset.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience managing software products from conception to launch.

Experience working closely with development teams.

Follows procedures to communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate Variscale Management.
