Collaborate with management, staff and stakeholders on data strategy, architecture, rationalization, quality, and analytics to support strategic business initiatives

Develop Logical and Physical Data Models to ensure adherence to sound data management principles

5 plus years of Azure SQL management

Provide end-to-end vision and knowledge to projects to help better design solutions

7 plus years of Database Administration experience on MSSQL

5 years of general data analysis experience including excellent understanding of SQL and complex queries

3+ years of product-focused data science experience or equivalent

Experience performing data analysis and machine learning using Python or R

Experience using statistics to inform decision making

Experience with a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau

Experience with data warehouse design, development and best practices

Develop tools & resources to empower data access and self-service so your expertise can be leveraged where it is most impactful

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related technical field or an equivalent combination of work experience and certifications

Work closely with the product team to convert business requirements into robust data models.

Experience with data lake architectures and data modelling techniques.

Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse) is a plus.

Experience with Python is a plus.

Experience with PowerBI is a plus.

Excellent time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritization

Design and monitor holistic data governance structures, data modelling and information management.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience

Deep experience with data: source analysis, modeling, ontologies, metadata and data consumption

Subject area experience with anti-money laundering compliance, RDARR, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and regulatory compliance is an asset

Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.

Create and maintain documentation for architecture, requirements, and process flows.

1-5 years experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a similar role.

1-5 years experience in developing production-level systems using C# with .Net framework or Java with Spring framework.

Data Platform Engineer Mandatory Skills:

Experience with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, and CI/CD tools

Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, SDK
