Lytica is looking for a Data Architect who loves the challenge of the fast-paced start-up world, to work with the product team to help design and build our product offering and delivering high quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the product team to convert business requirements into robust data models.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to implement automated ETL pipelines.
• Create stored procedures and SQL scripts to populate data models.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies.
• Perform SQL queries performance optimization.
• Work closely with the application development team to ensure best practices.
• Maintain existing and create new data models that power Lytica’s analytics products.
• Be a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SQL Server stored procedures, optimization, and indexing techniques.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse) is a plus.
• Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with data lake architectures and data modelling techniques.
• Deep expertise in data modelling techniques, including data warehousing.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related technical field or an equivalent combination of work experience and certifications
• 7 years of experience designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure for SaaS or enterprise applications
