Senior Architect Jobs

Pye & Richards – Temprano & Young (PR-TY) is a reputable, creative, and innovative Architectural and Interior Design firm located in Ottawa, Ontario. A position is available for an experienced Intermediate - Senior level Architect and Senior Technician.

The ideal successful candidate must have a degree or diploma in Architecture, an absolute minimum of 5 years in the Architectural field and be a full OAA certified member. LEED Credentials, BCIN and PMP as well as fluency in both French and English would be considered additional assets.

If you are a driven, self-starter with the ability to lead and manage projects and have the desire to design with creativity and innovation, you will be interested in this position!You will be involved in all phases of design and must have specific experience working on commercial and institutional projects.

The successful candidate requires experience in all phases of an interior design project from Planning/Concept through Construction Administration. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must, Revit knowledge is an asset and will be a requirement in design. Government experience, Functional Programming and working knowledge of GC Workplace is preferential. The successful candidate will have extensive technical skills in both architecture and design, be client service oriented and have a firm grasp on quality control.

Excellent Client interaction, good organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to participate in and lead presentations, time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects at once, attention to detail, and problem solving skills are also essential.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Microsoft Office 365
