Sr. Architect – Backup-Storage, Brampton, ON

As a Senior Architect in the Platform Technologies Team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment with a focus on storage and backup solutions in a Hybrid Cloud Environment.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop and improve the backup & storage component of solutions delivered to the business
• Provide leadership to our 3rd party support team. This will require after hours engagement in the event of a major incident impacting Loblaw Business.
• Budget and plan technology lifecycles.
• Automate using code to streamline routine tasks and time to deliver solutions.
• Keep up with emerging backup methodologies and storage technologies

What You Bring:

• Tenured experience coding with Python and Terraform. Familiarity with Hitachi Ops Center and VMWare vSphere APIs are an asset
• Knowledge of storage and backup offerings in at least two of Azure, GCP and OCI is also required.
• A detailed knowledge of Dell Data Protection and how to best implement it using Networker and Data Domain.
• Strong Experience with Enterprise Storage technologies, specifically Hitachi
