Our Client in the Durham Region, Ontario is expanding and seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their team. The Senior System Administrator will play a key role as they transition their infrastructure to the cloud (Azure). The successful candidate will work with the IT Team, and be an escalation point for all IT related issues. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in the migration of on-premise applications to Microsoft 365 Apps (SharePoint, OneDrive). Responsibilities

• Administration of Networking appliances (Ubiquiti, Dell, Watchguard, Cisco)
• Level 3 Helpdesk support
• Inventory and Asset Management
• Administration of on-premise and cloud based infrastructure (Azure)
• Server virtualization, storage and backup
• Supporting multiple satellite offices
• Windows Server administration, monitoring and reporting

Requirements
Desired skills and experience

• SSO application integration (AzureAD or other)
• MDM Management (Intune, Manage Engine or equivalent)
• Experienced with Microsoft 365 Apps administration and deployment at the Enterprise level (Teams, SharePoint Online, AzureAD, OneDrive, Exchange Online)
• Experience working in a Azure cloud environment
• College and/or University accreditation in related field
• 8+ years of experience in a System Administration role (Cloud and On-premises)

Nice To Have

• Microsoft Teams phone deployments
• SharePoint Design
• SharePoint On-Prem to SharePoint Online Migration
