Job title: Data Center Project Manager

Salary: Up to $150,000 (negotiable) + benefits

2+ years of relevant data centre experience

Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.

Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.

Performs moderately sophisticated preventative and corrective maintenance checks on-site on facility components

Supervises the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves moderately sophisticated alarm issues that require judgment in resolving

Operates and maintains plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems

Operates critical infrastructures under the supervision of more senior technical staff

In collaboration with vendors, supports modifications to technical files for plants and equipment, ensuring files and builds are up-to-date.

Valid driver's license, if driving required in conjunction with job duties. Facility Management and CFC certification are desired.

Provide regular statistical reporting to the management team and client showing quantities evidence of the productive use of the workforce.

Use guidelines set by management to develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies.

Advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures and systems.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet.

Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.

Desired Education, Skills, and Certifications:

Must have in-depth knowledge of Data Center Networking and various Cisco components that can deliver these capabilities.

QoS traffic management for example queuing, policing, shaping, etc.

Network management protocols for example PTP, NTP, DNS, DHCP, TACACS, RADIUS, etc.

Leads and/or supports Cisco customer delivery engagements and create and share technical collateral, documentation and deliver knowledge transfer.

CCIE in Data Center or Route & Switch Technologies or 8+ years of equivalent experience.

May have project management responsibilities for smaller projects

Supports Networking products - including Cisco certification requirements

Perform IMAC and exposure to project management

Knowledge of client specific internal procedures and service delivery requirements.

Possesses other, high skilled, specialized technical skills.

2-4 years of hands-on technical experience

Configuration of machines: solid knowledge of Linux, Windows 10 and Apple Workstations

Onsite Data Centre experience supporting the Data Centre equipment and/or infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)

Knowledge of data center and power operations including cooling systems, UPS and generators

Knowledge of Jira and confluence ticketing system

3+ years experience selling Cloud (AWS or Google or Microsoft)

Childcare management course covering: Planning, Budgeting, Staffing & Monitoring

At least ten hours of management training

Two years of programmatic experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and one of the following:

You prioritize work from the Oracle queue and ensures alignment to all commit times

Troubleshoots switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; raises to, and works with networking group, as needed

Exceptional client management and communications skills

10+ years in a management role, leading developer programs

Coordinating a cohesive API strategy and pricing across all Data Center Services offerings

Identifying and developing strategic partnerships with industry leading vendors and system implementers to augment your product offering

Managing relationships, working with Partners to build joint solutions / offerings to meet customer needs and market demands

Manage the product P&L by tracking platform costs

Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements and deadlines.

7+ years of construction management or general contractor experience

5+ years of mission critical / data center construction management experience

Cost management and forecasting knowledge.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related technical degree

Cost Management / Change Control, including invoice review, change order review, negotiations, recommendations, and delay analysis
