Job Summary: Data Centers are considered Critical Facilities. This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, you will complete repairs, corrective maintenance, and standard installations of Critical Facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities


  • Uses a substantial understanding of following operating procedures to support on-site administration
  • Performs moderately sophisticated site logs for permits, such as Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts
  • Supports energy efficiency measures
  • Collaborates with others to complete infrastructure projects and resolve moderately sophisticated facility incidents
  • Operates and maintains plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems
  • Supervises the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves moderately sophisticated alarm issues that require judgment in resolving
  • Optimally collaborates within the department; may mentor team members on general maintenance activities.
  • Performs moderately sophisticated preventative and corrective maintenance checks on-site on facility components
  • Responds to on-site incidents, including failures, problems, and delays
  • Identifies Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and makes recommendations
  • Supports auxiliary equipment and machines with problem-solving and repairs to avoid/minimize downtime
  • Operates critical infrastructures under the supervision of more senior technical staff
  • Provides partners with inventory needed to maintain efficient critical parts and equipment stock levels
  • Supports the work approval process for service providers on moderately sophisticated maintenance work for tracking: briefing at the start of work, work during the day workday/shift, and final review of the work carried out.
  • In collaboration with vendors, supports modifications to technical files for plants and equipment, ensuring files and builds are up-to-date.
  • Makes minor changes to mechanical, electrical, and niche systems, as advised


Qualifications


  • 2+ years experience or equivalent
  • High School Diploma
  • You can work days/nights/weekends/holidays if needed and/or required.
  • You perform all crucial job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting, and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation.
