Performs moderately sophisticated preventative and corrective maintenance checks on-site on facility components

Supervises the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves moderately sophisticated alarm issues that require judgment in resolving

Operates and maintains plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems

Operates critical infrastructures under the supervision of more senior technical staff

In collaboration with vendors, supports modifications to technical files for plants and equipment, ensuring files and builds are up-to-date.

Understand emergency management, preparedness and response procedures for work locations

Previous experience in the oil and natural gas industry

Ensure facilities and personnel comply with TC Energy’s health, safety, environment, and risk standards

Perform Preventative Maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC, Boiler units.

Perform monthly and annual preventive maintenance and inspections on site equipment.

Perform routine pipeline, gas measurement and compression maintenance activities as required

Documentation, and asset management of IT equipment in comm rooms and data centre.

Assist Systems Management analysts with builds, upgrades, provisions, and installations and decommissioning of servers where required.

Basic knowledge of network protocols, principles and concepts including the ability to troubleshoot local connectivity issues.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

Demonstrated ability of multi-tasking skills while working in a fast- paced, high pressure environment required.

Requirements for this position include:

Assists the house electrical in providing electrical requirements to clients when required.

Four years related experience in the operation of live theatre and concert lighting

Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.

Operations stage lighting and audio systems throughout the facility including the auditorium, centennial hall, convention centre, and salon.

Ensures the maintenance of lighting and audio equipment as well as stage risers.

Experience using a computerized maintenance management system, such as SAP or Maximo

Perform frequent inspections of the facility and oversight of our facilities vegetation management plan

Understand emergency management, preparedness and response procedures for work locations

Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level and/or ladder.

Proven mechanical and technical skills related to natural gas pipelines

Previous experience in the oil and natural gas industry

Ensure work completed meets quality, contract response, and all other requirements.

3+ years’ experience in facility maintenance (food manufacturing facility maintenance experience is a plus!)

Solid knowledge of mechanical systems (i.e. HVAC, compressed air, chillers, boilers)

Working and operating knowledge of Building Automation Systems

A team player with strong people skills

A motivated and energetic self-starter with strong problem solving skills

Maintain high waste management level in the DC

Effective management of time with ability to prioritize

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in construction, carpentry, building maintenance and or general repairs capacity

Support in maintaining site in the best condition possible

Secure activities in order to ensure safety, security standards within DC

Detect any potential areas of vulnerability, asses for risks and act on it

Typically requires a high school diploma and 2-4 years of equivalent work experience

2-3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, & MHE maintenance

1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles

Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate about dance and literacy

3+ years teaching at the post secondary/undergraduate level

Works independently while collaborating effectively with the other faculty

Post-Secondary education in a related discipline, such as; Business Administration, Office Administration-Health Sciences

Demonstrated proficient use of automated telecommunications systems and personal computers, call centre system applications experience preferred.

Minimum High School Grade 12 graduation

Successful completion and documentation of Medical Terminology course

Utilize both nursing knowledge and expertise, and strong technical computer skills, to assess patient care levels and upload findings into database.

Broad knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for clinical practitioners established by the BCCNM.

Comprehensive knowledge of clinical utilization of clinical information systems.

Broad knowledge of clinical policies, procedures and standards of care.

Knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client care.

Demonstrated skill in CPR techniques.

Demonstrate knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems and building management/automation equipment

Proven skills in the use of software, such as, BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and MS Project

Participate in the implementation of the site-specific crisis management plan and in the tests and implementation exercises concerning this plan

Experience in these types of functions, ideally in a similar environment to data center operations

Good communication skills with third parties and internal customers

Ensure the completion of the maintenance activities to the highest quality level of planification, preparation, execution, and reporting
