What success looks like in this role:


  • May have project management responsibilities for smaller projects
  • Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required
  • Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications
  • Support Unisys Legacy products
  • Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system
  • Provides support for enterprise storage products
  • Possesses other, high skilled, specialized technical skills.
  • May function as team or site leader providing direction to other technicians
  • Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
  • Desk side support specialist
  • Perform IMAC and exposure to project management
  • Performs server and storage break and fix.
  • Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and servers
  • Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction
  • Provides support for Enterprise products
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
  • Provides support for Payment systems products and Unisys core-CMOS products
  • Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripherals
  • Supports Networking products - including Cisco certification requirements
  • Provides maintenance and support on legacy products


This position requires an on-site presence in Data Center environment.


  • Tech will provide technical support to Customer which will include:


Break-fix support for new rack deployment


Incident management support for sustain operations


  • Project related support


Any DC related activity as directed by Customer


Some examples: Replace a Network Device. Configure a network device or a server, Perform power cycle, Perform patch management / cabling etc.


  • Reporting:


✓ Tech will assist L3 Tech or Local ZT Services Leadership in generating periodic reports per customer specification


  • Participate in failure analysis within Data center environment as directed by Customer Engineering team


You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Preferred Certifications
  • Familiarity with deployment technologies such as WDS, PXE, DHCP & FTP.
  • Requires a High School degree
  • A+ certification
  • 2-4 years of hands-on technical experience
  • Working knowledge of Linux PXE services.
  • Supports Core, server products
  • MCP/MCSE Certification is a plus
  • Participation in RCA or Failure analysis history.
  • Ability to test and certify PC, networks, servers and client /Unisys approved software applications and associated peripherals
  • Electronics training equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes, polytechnic and/or military technical school/universities and/or applicable related technical experience.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move server systems that weigh up to 70 LBs
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
  • Using mechanical capability and an understanding of ESD procedures
  • Knowledgeable in servers, Microsoft/Linux/Unix applications, network protocol, internetworking, configuration, and possess advanced PC support capability.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server OS & Winpe OS administration.
  • Knowledge of client specific internal procedures and service delivery requirements.
  • High school degree required
  • Active directory/exchange server and operating systems knowledge
  • Ability to test and certify mainframes and/or servers with associated peripherals
  • Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required
  • A+ certification a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in investigation of issues
  • Proven experience in SW and FW tools of various Server OEMs
  • CompTIA Server+ or equivalent.
  • Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
  • Degree in a computer-related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3 plus year of equivalent experience. Computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related discipline
  • Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
  • Client and/or governmental clearance may be required Microsoft Server Certified Professional Certification and/or CCNA Certification is an added advantage.
  • Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripherals
  • Excellent analytical and client communication skills.
  • Knowledge of client specific internal procedures and service delivery requirements.
  • Specific Manufacturers certifications as required. I.e. EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Unisys. COMPTIA, and NETWORKPLUS
  • Specific manufacturer certification as required, i.e. EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Unisys. COMPTIA certifications, and NETWORKPLUS and for legacy products, must have current product training
  • Police or criminal background verification may be required
  • Supports network products from operational and maintenance perspectives
  • Bilangual: French and English
  • Bachelor’s degree or Electronics training equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes, polytechnic and/or military technical school/universities and/or applicable related technical experience
  • Advanced degree of knowledge of hardware and software including Unisys/Microsoft/Network operating systems and advanced troubleshooting capabilities on software and hardware problems including DTS, Legacy systems, storage systems and interconnectivity problems
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
  • Troubleshooting software and hardware problems
  • Exceptional server hardware knowledge with deep understanding of all component & system type failures.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows scripting is preferred
  • Experienced in controlled experiments to determine root cause
