Job Description

1 -Fonction

La mission de l’ingénieur(e) du service (FSE) est d’assurer des prestations de service de haute qualité auprès des laboratoires dans le respect de notre politique qualité. Le FSE est en charge d’effectuer les maintenances préventives et correctives au regard des indicateurs clés de performance du pôle service, et de mener les installations de nouveaux instruments en fonction des objectifs et des besoins de l’entreprise. L’ingénieur(e) de service grâce à son expertise technique, son sens de l’observation et ses facultés relationnelles est à même de répondre et surpasser les attentes de notre clientèle tout en respectant les obligations contractuelles.

3 -Missions

1.Planifier, programmer et effectuer toutes les prestations de service liées aux:

oNouvelles installations

oMaintenances préventives

oMaintenances correctives

oAutres responsabilités selon les besoins du pôle service (formation, démonstration etc.)

2.Gérer les autres besoins des clients à travers le territoire assigné (documentation technique, traitement des tâches annexes, formations des clients etc.)

3.Tenir de manière appropriée et à jour la base de données (fiches de temps de travail, rapports de service et d’interventions)

4.Communiquer et collaborer en interne et externe de manière adaptée et professionnelle

5.Promouvoir la couverture des niveaux de services (base des revenus du pôle services), être force de proposition sur les axes d’amélioration dans la volonté de toujours mieux servir les clients

6.Soutenir la ligne d’assistance téléphonique en fonction des besoins

7.Gérer, documenter et contrôler le stock de pièces détachées

8.Reconditionner des pièces et des instruments

4 -Délégation de responsabilité

En cas d’absence, le "poste“ est couvert par un autre Ingénieur du Service

5 -Compétences requises pour le poste

· Diplômé(e) en génie électrique/Ingénierie technique biomédicale ou dans un domaine similaire

· Minimum 3 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du Diagnostic In Vitro (DIV)

· Permis de conduire valide et règlementaire au Canada

· Langues requises: Français et Anglais (parlé, lu et écrit)

· Forte autonomie / prise d’initiative / curiosité

· Points importants:

oExpérience en service applicatif et/ou service dans l'industrie des DIV

oExpérience au service des laboratoires de biologie médicale au Québec / Canada

oConnaissance de l'infrastructure, des processus et des outils d’un département de services

oSolides compétences en matière de technologie (outils Microsoft, programmation de menu, outils de gestion, connexion d’instruments etc.)

oExpérience prouvée en matière d’autonomie de travail (gestion du temps, indépendance organisationnelle, optimisation des déplacements, gestion des priorités)

7 -Lieu de travail

· Territoire principal: QC, NB, NS, PE, NL

· Territorire deuxième: ON, MB, SK, AB, BC

· Basé dans la région de Montréal

· Déplacements à prévoir: 70% du temps

Environnement de travail : Le niveau de bruit et la température de l'environnement de travail sont généralement modérés.

1 - Function

The mission of the Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be to ensure service of quality and continuous improvement. The FSE will achieve the Service KPIs of preventive and corrective maintenance and will prioritize the new installations according with business objectives and needs while diligently managing Sebia resources. The FSE will use an innovative approach to the customer service experience in order to deliver upon contractual obligations to meet and exceed customer expectations.

3 - Missions

1. Plan, schedule and perform all service aspects related to:

·New installations

·Preventative maintenances

·Corrective maintenances

·Other service tasks as required

2. Manage, document and control Spare Part Stock

3. Instrument and parts reconditioning

4. Administer the customer territory in the assigned region (maintaining accurate and up to date asset information, customer details, service documentation, timesheets, service reports, case handling etc.)

5. Proper and timely use of CRM

6. Professional level of internal and external collaboration and communication

7. Promote service coverage (grow service revenue)

8. Support the Hotline on an as-needed basis

4 - Responsibility delegation

In case of absence, the "position" is replaced by another Canada FSE

5 - Skills

·Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Biomedical Technical Engineering or related discipline

·Years of experience: 3+ years

·Valid driver’s license in good standing

·Languages required: French and English

·High initiative / self-starting

·Assets:

·Experience in Technical Service and Post Sale Services in the IVD industry

·Experience serving customers in the Clinical IVD market in Central Canada

·Knowledge in Service department Infrastructure, Processes and tools

·Strong skillset in technology (Microsoft products (Suite, Teams, Dynamics), LIS, etc.)

·Proven experience in work autonomy (independent non-directed work management)

Primary Sebia Technical Service Region: QC, NB, NS, PE, NL

Secondary Sebia Technical Service Region: All Canada

Must be available to travel 70% time
