Maintain network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.

Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis in support of incident and problem management. Recommended options to address identified issues.

8 years of experience as a Network Engineer deploying, configuring, and supporting Infrastructure (Cisco, HP Aruba, and Extreme 4000 serial above).

Excellent communication – written and verbal in English is required.

Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Experience programming in a compiled language like C/C++, Rust, C#, Java or Go

Post-secondary education in IT or Telecommunications-related field.

2-3 years of working experience in IT/Telecom related field.

IP networking background desired. Certifications such as CCNA are an asset.

VoIP background desired. Any experience with SIP protocl is an asset.

Any experience maintaining DNS systems (eg; Bind) is an asset.

Working knowledge of packet analysers such as Wireshark is desired.

Knowledge of firewall functionality and upkeep.

Experience with Agile priniciples, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, DevOps
