Client Accounting Associate Jobs

Manage and process all invoices and payments for all development projects.

Enter all sales contracts and sale proceeds statements from home purchasers.

Assist the VP of Finance with regular reporting to banks and other financial institutions.

2+ years of accounting experience

Collect and record receipt of all invoices, and statements, matching PO’s & CO’s.

Process all change orders, purchase orders and unit upgrades through the accounting software.

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Assist the Manager or coworkers with any other tasks or job duties that may be required.

Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation is a plus.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Strong project management, relationship building and communication skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

4+ years of experience in public accounting

Experience in real estate and/or nonprofits preferred

Prior experience with CCH software products (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Document) is a plus

Planning, supervising, reviewing and completing engagements

You will report to the Divisional Accounting Manager based in British Columbia, Canada.

Ø Prepare Sales Order profitability report and distribute to sales department, accounting manager and VP Flexible Packaging.

A Sample of the Daily Duties

Ø Perform inventory cost and quantity adjustments to facilitate shipping and accurate gross profit margin

Ø In charge of all intercompany sales between Flexible Films Canada and Flexible Films USA.

Some of the Weekly Duties

Reconcile records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures including open market purchasing and formal contracting and negotiating techniques.

Manage PO process, receive and verify invoices against approved PO and packing slips for goods and services;

Data entry into the accounting system.

Comply with the government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Intermediate level Accounting, Finance and Analysis skills

Strong creative problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and requests will be essential

Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent written and oral communication

Advanced organization, accuracy and administrative skills to ensure and maintain a high level of data integrity

Strong ability to manage time and priorities in a deadline driven and fast-paced environment

Accounting Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience

·Manage employee expense accounting and organize reimbursements.

·Possess a University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting/Finance

·Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills

·Tournament and event accounting and variance analysis

Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build and maintain positive relationships with operating management, financial staff and other departments.

Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance

University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

Sound knowledge of Financial and ERP systems

Knowledge and proficiency with MS Office and Excel.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the finance/accounting teams in Canada and U.S..

Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks.

1-2 years related work experience is preferred.

Issue AR invoices and handles administrative aspects of the billing which include sending reminders, receipts, and correspondences.

Process daily bank deposit transactions and reconcile payments in an accurate and timely matter.

Support franchise royalty admin as required.

Prepare bi-weekly employee expense reimbursement.

Assist in finance transformation projects;

Strong knowledge of accounting principles including accruals, asset capitalization, and revenue recognition.

Record banking and credit card transactions;

Prepare customer invoices and follow up on collections based on client business rules;

Record supplier bills and process vendor payments based on client business rules;

Record revenue and expenses in client books based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) applicable to each client;
