A minimum of 2-3 years of QA experience

Experience working with a LMS is ideal (e.g., Moodle)

The candidate should also have demonstrated experience in business and systems analysis in a cloud environment

Public sector experience is a nice-to-have

Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards is also desirable

Quality Assurance/Business Analyst – Mandatory Skills

Liaise with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing meets project requirements.

Offer and or promote alternative technical solutions to business problems.

Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in functional testing, system testing and system integration testing including test automation

Strong analytical skills and ability to read and understand formal technical specifications.

Willingness to learn new technology skills to keep pace with the improvements of the testing process

Documents results and provides updates to project teams and Management as requested.

Knowledge of how User Stories, Business Requirements Definition (BRD), Data Models, data mappings and design are used to support QA testing.

Strong written and oral communication skills in English (French is an asset).

- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, including test planning, test execution, and defect management

- Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools

- Must have foundation-level certification in QA such as ISTQB foundation, CSTE, CAST, CTFL, and CSQA

- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques and tools

5 years' experience in Accounting (Accounts Reconciliation)

3+ years of QA/Test automation experience.

Strong automation experience in Selenium or other similar technologies to instrument web-based applications.

5+ years of strong knowledge of end-to-end test methodology (test strategy, test plan, SDLC, defect management and test reporting metrics)

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines and priorities.

Prior experience in the wealth management industry would be an asset.

Supporting the QA lead with the Defect management activities.

Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents & providing feedback to the Business Analyst.

Reporting on open/closed defects to the QA Lead / Project Manager.

Experience in the use of test management tools such as Jira, TestRail etc.

Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.

Identify and prioritize test cases based on project requirements and risks and develop associated test plans and timelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, business and technical subject matter experts, developers, business analysts, and project managers.

Guidewire Documents Testing, Agile, QA Processes, French C1/C2 certified

7 ) Guidewire PolicyCenter , Billing Center , Claim Center

Tester required for Guide wire version updated to version 10 program

Work with project managers and product owners to identify and prioritize testing needs and provide input into project timelines and estimates.

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing.

Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.

Experience with testing AI/ML software applications is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with the Jira requirements management system

Experienced with test management and defect tracking tools and associated reports

Identify test requirements from product specifications and develop, document and maintain functional automated test cases to cover those requirements

Experience writing clear test cases
