Specific Responsibilities Include

Department OverviewA member of a high performing team of professionals responsible for a range of activities, responding to and providing operational and transactional support, troubleshooting issues, performing audit controls and answering any system related questions/inquiries, and account reconciliations. This position requires strong excel, reporting, customer service, prioritization and troubleshooting skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management skills, be result driven, and be able to manage multiple business demands. The candidate should also have solid communication skills with the ability to liaise with business, Finance, project partners and technology.

• Actively monitor the user request queue and mailbox to ensure standard SLAs are met.
• Responding to and providing operational and transactional support for applications
• Answering "how to" inquiries related to application exceptions and functionality such as procurement requisition submission, receiving of goods and invoice approval
• Prepare/update team documentation for new/revised operational processes.
• Participate in monthly team metric reporting and help identify trends impacting team resourcing. Maintaining logs of activities and completed work.
• Validation and operational troubleshooting
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to automate, streamline, and further enhance team processes.

Skills. This Position Requires

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, computer sciences, and/or finance/accounting.
• 5 years' experience in Accounting (Accounts Reconciliation)
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and ad hoc requests.
• Experience in analyzing and reporting on data.
• Motivated achiever with good organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivation, with initiative to investigate and resolve issues and meet demanding turnaround times.
• Strong MS Office skills especially strong Excel skills.
• An enthusiastic, positive, and cooperative individual who can work independently and function well in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage strong relationships within and across multiple businesses and technology groups.
• Comfortable learning and using new technology
