Job Description
On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Quality Assurance/Business Analyst.
Quality Assurance/Business Analyst –


  • The QA/BA will be responsible for providing advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing
  • They will plan and organize testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing
  • The QA/BA will also work closely with the testing lead and IT lead of each project, as well as the project team members in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of the required systems

Quality Assurance/Business Analyst – Mandatory Skills


  • 10+ years of experience in Front end testing (Java) and Business Analysis
  • They should have experience creating requirements artefacts in an Agile project environment using DevOps, and proven experience in the use of a SQL/PLSQL tool to review and extract data from the database
  • The candidate should also have demonstrated experience in business and systems analysis in a cloud environment
  • Experience with Azure DevOps tool (or equivalent) for developing complete testing scripts and approval processes is also required

Quality Assurance/Business Analyst – Preferred Skills


  • Public sector experience is a nice-to-have
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards is also desirable
  • The candidate should also have knowledge and experience in at least one programming language, experience in the use of information retrieval packages, and knowledge and understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment
