Position Title: Software Quality Assurance Intern
Position Description:
Inspirata is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Intern to join our growing team. The Intern is an entry-level role in Verification & Validation which focuses on ensuring software meets an organization's quality standards and product requirements. The QA Intern will work alongside software developers, system engineers, and project managers to develop and execute tests to ensure software meets the necessary quality standards.
Responsibilities:
•Test existing software products to identify areas of improvement and potential enhancements
•Design, Develop and Execute test cases as part of QA Deliverables
•Evaluate test results and log errors, creating comprehensive test reports
•Optimize software to identify, analyze, and resolve bugs.
•Collaborate with other software developers, Scrum Masters, Leads and managers to improve product quality
•Assist the team in creation of Test Plan and Test Strategy for each product release
•Maintain an accurate and updated database of test data
•Follow established software development processes and procedures
•Ability to communicate effectively about QA-related issues
•Adhere to timelines and Quality standards, processes, and best practices
Skills and Qualifications:
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- A graduate from College or University in computer science, engineering, or any other technical field
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good understanding of software development principles
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Understanding of QA methods, testing approaches, frameworks, and methodologies
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and relevant quality assurance concepts
- Basic knowledge on test automation and understanding of the nuances of testing native apps
