Responsible for reviewing software requirements

Full-time position for a duration of 5 months

Writing, executing, and maintaining test cases for Hiring Company Financial software

Write, execute, and maintain test cases

Experience in code testing and automation systems

Relevant experience of trading applications within Front Office

Strong coding skills in Python

Hands on testing, maintaining, and coordinating of software applications

Identify any issues in the software and provide detailed reports to the development team

Knowledge in C++, scripting experience

5 + years of experience in manual and automated testing of front office connectivity / trading applications

Experience in Python on Linux and databases, developing automation scripts for applications

Prior experience working in one or more of following areas will be strongly preferred:

Researching across multiple systems and assisting in updating defect management with requirement basis of defects.

Experience in multiple test management and defect tracking tools such as HP Quality Center, CA Rally, JIRA, Perforce Helix, etc.

Demonstrated experience writing and working with Business, Functional, Non-Functional, and performance requirements.

General Business Analysis skills and experience.

Supporting the QA team in understanding test cases, defects, and requirement needs for testing and escalating issues.

Intermediate to senior level QA testing experience.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum of 3 years of working experience with “IT-related” projects, and preferably with involving hardware.

Troubleshooting experience from other technical domains like, for example, QC or Customer Support is more than welcomed.

Knowledge of tools like Confluence, Test Rail, and JIRA is recommended.

University degree in Computer Science is preferred or equivalent experience and ongoing education related to Quality Assurance and software development

5+ years of software QA and test automation experience in a .Net environment

Hands-on experience with testing a broad range of custom and COTS software solutions, including web, mobile and SaaS applications

You have strong leadership, problem solving, flexibility and project management skills

Provide visibility on the open actions & follow-up (Powerpoint presentation) to management

Perform source inspection at the supplier to evaluate the quality of the parts as per Bombardier requirements including aesthetic requirements

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience

You have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with completion & aesthetic of parts

You have experience in the Aerospace industry

Effective written and verbal communication skills including English, ability to communicate and manage expectations with clients

College Diploma or Business Certificate Finance or Accounting an asset

Experience with financial data, accounting or auditing experience

This role requires the candidate to be fluent in French and English

The Canada Acceleration Centre (CAC) services all Canadian time zones, therefore business hours will vary and overtime is required

This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation

Experience with test management systems such as SpiraTest or XRay

Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) would be an asset

3+ years of experience in software development QA

Experience working with one or more of the following databases MS SQL and Oracle

Experience with test case generation for both manual and automated testing

Experience building automated test cases using TestComplete, JMeter, SQL, Java, JS, and Jenkins.

Participate in evaluation of testing effort needed in different projects and upgrades;

Define / adapt quality norms and standards in systems development cycle;

Experience with the Jira requirements management system

Experienced with test management and defect tracking tools and associated reports

Identify test requirements from product specifications and develop, document and maintain functional automated test cases to cover those requirements

Experience writing clear test cases

Experience with the Git software revision control system

Experience in Fintech, Travel, Ecommerce

Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports based on the requirements.

Review user requirement documents to ensure the new features are testable.

Minimum 5 years of experience in testing complex enterprise web based applications.

Excellent knowledge of software testing, concepts and procedures.

Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.

Solid knowledge of sanity, smoke and regression testing procedures.

A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated testing experience including multiple types of testing (e.g. functional, performance, connectivity, regression, automation)

A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance and system testing best practices and methodologies

Demonstrated experience in a QA Lead role.

Demonstrated experience in security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy as it pertains to databases and application design and development.

Demonstrated advanced experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) in a QA environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance frameworks and project methodologies such as Waterfall, Waterscrum, Agile.

You hold a diploma in engineering, operations management, communication or any other relevant field or equivalent experience

You have experience in project management.

Develop communication, change management and risk mitigation plans;

Act as a coach with management and stakeholders, in order to empower them to implement and maintain the best practices.

You have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience

Evaluate situations, map processes and analyze data to highlight gaps;
