Collaborates with GRL management on company-wise Service Department processes, standards and best practices.

Dispatches, completes calls in a manner the balances dispatch flow, customer requirements, and costs incurred by GRL Service.

Maintains current knowledge of primary and secondary products and technologies and related work practices.

Key Collaborations: Director of Service, GRL accounting/administration staff, Product Specialist, Inside Sales, Service Managers in Delta, and Red Deer

2+ years' of management or supervisory experience

Maintain financial responsibility for all expenses, wages, and asset management

Experience hiring and training individuals

Identify operational deficiencies and implement plans for improvement

Create and maintain a weekly report on operations and sales at the branch

Hire and train all employees of the branch

Works closely with asset management to determine asset requirements for short, medium, and long-term goals.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related industry; management experience in construction and a unionized environment strongly preferred.

Track record of strong leadership, team building, organizational, and change management skills.

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and inventory management systems.

Responsible for the safety, leadership, and management of the day-to-day activities for the Saint John Branch

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Operations or Engineering, or Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience.

Strong demonstrated stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Manage team within a fast paced, customer-focused environment including training, scheduling, hiring, ensuring compliance with company standards,

Inspecting completed work and as-built drawings to verify compliance with job requirements and any related codes/regulations and ensuring quality workmanship,

Coordinate with local electrical inspection governance to have work correctly approved as per the local code requirements.

Branch Manager I (Category 09):

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on empowering and developing team members.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing branch performance, market trends, and potential challenges.
