We now have new headquarters located in Arlington, Texas, and have an exciting opportunity for a Web Project Content Writer to join our remote team!
HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Web Project Content Writer will specialize in creating, developing and managing high-quality, engaging, SEO-optimized and conversion-centered content for client websites across various industries. This position requires communicating rapidly and effectively with all parties involved in projects, meeting deadlines and budgeted hours, keeping track of the project status and next steps and having a drive to continually learn and grow in knowledge. Experience with the Storybrand framework or something similar is a plus, but not required. A strong understanding of SEO and best practices is a must. We’d prefer someone with previous digital marketing agency experience. Experience writing creative content is preferred.
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Perform research for topics across a variety of industries
- Ability to write strong headlines and CTA text is a must
- Report directly to our Content Manager
- Ability to understand tone of voice and follow branding guidelines
- Strong self-editing skills with the ability to adjust quickly if needed
- Work in conjunction with the SEO Account Managers, project managers, the Creative Team and others.
- Edit pre-existing content optimized for voice, tone, spelling, grammar and conversion
- Create, develop and manage high-quality, engaging, SEO-optimized and conversion-centered content for client's web presence
- Write homepages, About Us pages, service pages, product pages for websites
- Quick response time and follow-up when edits are required
- Follow templates and execute content accordingly
- Attend some client-facing meetings as well as internal syncs
- Any other content writing work that will benefit our brands
- Write optimized landing pages focused on conversion for various campaigns
- Optimize content for SEO and accessibility
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organization - must be detailed, keep a daily list of tasks up to date and avoid mistakes. This is vital to our team’s efficiency as well as our quality standards.
- Sense of urgency - in today’s business world, speed is vital. We must be fast, agile, adaptable and make the important things happen quickly.
