For a global pharma company, that s a leader within allergy treatment, we are currently seeking an experienced freelance medical writer who is proficient in both French and/or English writing, with a strong background in writing towards healthcare professionals. TThe company has its headquarters in Denmark and an office in Toronto, Canada.
As a freelance medical writer you will be responsible for crafting high-quality content that effectively communicates medical information about allergy treatment to healthcare professionals - ideally in both French and English. You will collaborate closely with a team of medical professionals, content strategists, and designers to create engaging and informative materials tailored to the Canadian healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical experts, designers, and project managers to create cohesive and impactful content
- Therapeutic Expertise: Leverage your knowledge and experience in the allergy field or related therapeutic areas to provide insightful and relevant content that resonates with healthcare professionals
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards to ensure all content meets the necessary compliance requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy
- Scientific Accuracy: Ensure all content is accurate, evidence-based, and up-to-date by conducting thorough research and referencing credible sources
- Content Creation: Develop compelling and informative medical content for various formats such as LinkedIn ads, white papers, scripts for webinars, emails and more, targeting healthcare professionals in Canada
- Language Proficiency: Ideally you write effectively in both French and English, ensuring that the content maintains the same level of accuracy and clarity in both languages
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Familiarity with Canadian healthcare regulations and guidelines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to distill complex medical information into clear and engaging content
- Proficiency in writing in French and/or English (ideally both), with excellent grammar, syntax, and vocabulary
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts, particularly in the allergy field or similar therapeutic areas
- Proven experience as a medical writer, with a focus on healthcare professional communications
- Detail-oriented with excellent research and fact-checking skills
Place: Remote
Timing: Start in September
Scope: 10-15 hours per week - ongoing
